Mumbai,March 30: One of the most active and popular actors on Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan now has 12 million followers on the micro-blogging site. Amitabh Bachchan is on top with 13.9 million followers, SRK comes second with 12 million followed by Aamir Khan with 11.9 million followers. Salman Khan has 11.2 million followers on the micro-blogging site.
The actor who joined Twitter in January 2010, now has whopping 12 million followers on the social media platform.
SRK’s first tweet was on January 2, 2010 which said, “Being extremely shy, I never thought I would be here (on Twitter). But my friend Karan Johar insisted that I should learn to share my life.”
The superstar now has almost 8,263 tweets and follows 76 people.
Ecstatic Shah Rukh fans are celebrating their beloved hero’s digital feat by trending hashtag ‘#SRK12Million’ on Twitter.
The actor regularly posts messages and photos for his fans and expresses his opinions through Twitter.
