Mumbai,March 25: India will soon be facing Australia in the semi-final of the World Cup and Virat’s girlfriend Anushka has already made it to the land of Kangaroos to cheer for him and the Indian team.
Anushka, who along with other WAGs was barred from accompanying their partners to the World Cup, will now cheer from the stadium stands for Virat Kohli on the semi-final to be held on March 26.
According to a report in The Telegraph, since the team has made it to the semi-finals, the board has now allowed the players’ WAGs to accompany them.
The daily further reported that the couple went on a quiet dinner at an Indian restaurant accomapnied by a member of the support staff and a security officer assigned to team. Post the dinner, they called for a taxi since they did not want to invite any unwanted attention by the fans.
Anushka was also applauded for her performance in NH10 by the staff members.
With Anushka in Australia, it would be interesting to see another round of air kisses by Virat on the ground.
