The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of spending government money on the election campaign ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
“Nitish Kumar is trying to revive his political image by using hoardings and banners. He is spending hundreds and crores of rupees in election campaign. People of Bihar want to know where he is getting this money from,” told BJP leader Mangal Pandey .
“You are using government’s money through government’s mechanism. You have employed professionals for your election campaign, where are you getting the money to pay those professionals. People of Bihar want to know,” he added.
The assembly polls in Bihar would be held most likely in September or October this year.
