Tremors were felt in several parts of North India, including Srinagar and Delhi, on Monday after a high-intensity earthquake struck the Hindukush region in Afghanistan.
The earthquake, which was felt in the northern part of India, it was having the epicenter in Afghanistan, 210 kilometers in Hindukush area. Because of the depth, it was felt in a very large area. The magnitude on the Richter Scale was 6.2. No loss of life and property has been reported.
