London, April 10: You’re probably familiar with most things on Freida Pinto ’s impressive résumé from her breakout role in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire (2009) to her beauty endorsement with L’Oréal Paris and modeling for Free People. But one gig you might have missed? Her role as a stripper in Bruno Mars’s “Gorilla” music video, which still happens to be very fresh in the actress’s mind.
The 30-year-old actress sat down with Yahoo! Style for its video series, “I Yahoo’d Myself,” and shared just what it takes to master pole dancing — a whole lot of backside muscle.
“You know, it is so hard doing anything on the pole, and it’s all about technique,” she said. “But it’s all about strength. Do you know where the strength comes from? The butt!”
And speaking of her derriere, the star also confessed that she didn’t show off her assets in nude scenes from her 2011 film, Immortals. “I had a butt double for this film,” she shared. “I just said, ‘Get me the hottest butt in Montreal!’”
