Washington, March 06 : A federal judge has tentatively approved the 415 million dollar settlement case put forward by Apple, Google and other Silicon Valley companies over employee poaching scandal .

According to the Verge, Judge Lucy Koh rejected the first proposed 324 million dollar settlement in August last year, saying that it wasn’t high enough to make up for the lost wages employees may have suffered after the companies involved in the case allegedly set up no-poaching agreements that allowed them to set and limit wages.

Koh signed off on the latest deal after the companies including Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Intuit, agreed to raise the amount they paid in compensation.

The parties involved now have three months to submit final comments before the judge grants final approval on the settlement on June 9th.
