Chennai,April 9: The shooting of Thala 56 starts today (April 9) with a traditional pooja at Chennai.
The film will have Ajith Kumar, Shruthi Haasan, Santhanam, Thambi Ramaiah and others to its star cast. Directed by Siva of Siruthai and Veeram fame, the film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, editing by Antony L Ruben, cinematography by Vetri and action choreography by ‘Stunt’ Silva.
Though there is a buzz that the film’s title is Achcham Illai, the team is yet to announce the official title. Thala 56 will be produced by AM Ratnam under his Shri Sairam creations.
